One must prepare a little piece each of yatas meat, pingping meat, lungs, stomach, intestines, and blood for the sacrificial offerings.

2.ano mi da apen kono nokakoa am, kaji na anet am,

若 去 他們 拿 據說 以前 助 不 它 足够 助

ji anet a viniiy. am ano makakaday o ikoa ito am,

不 足 繫 豬肉 但 若 每項都有 主格 那個 那個 助

akmi mina to noroan o asa ka korang jira,

像 曾經 就 給 主格 一 連 豬 他們

因 祭 斜格 肝 它 絕無 主格 肝 它

[譯:據說,他們(神?)若去拿,看見祭品不全時。送神的祭品齊全的話,

It is rumored that if they (the gods?) take it and find the sacrifice is not complete…if the sacrifice is complete, then it is like giving a full pig. However, you do not sacrifice the liver, no liver.

3.to nio na naknakma o ipandepedepeh do agegen ya,

就 你們 已 想一想 主格 優待贈予 處格 落成禮 這

說 他們 助 若 祭 主格 羊 助

mioyaoya sira koan da, ta makoan na o korang,

[譯:你們想一想,關於落成禮時所贈送的禮肉,就是像那樣。但若祭羊肉,

神會不高興,他們認為它不及豬(好吃?)]

They will think, as for the gift meat for the ceremony of completion, that is how we will do it. However, if you sacrifice lamb, the gods will not be happy because they think that it is not as good as pig (not as tasty?)

4.asa o patan a, asa o ovi a, asa o soli,

一 主格 山薯 助 一 主格 助 一 主格 芋頭

5.no mamarepareng si akay mo icialaw am,

si akay mo icialaw do peyrayonan a,

主格 祖父 你 已故的 處格 煑飛魚處 助

因 不 你們 加入 屬格 做,準備 我

[譯:你已故的祖父在準備祭品的時候,他不讓我們坐在他身邊。他在處理

When your deceased grandfather was preparing the sacrificial items, he would not let us sit next to him. He prepared at the place where you prepare the flying fish. He said, “when I prepare the sacrificial items, do not come over here, or the gods will feel disgusted.”

6.no manaod sira nokakoa pa am,

若 祭 他們 以前 還 助

no mamarepareng sira so ipanaod da ya am,

若 做,準備 他們 斜格 祭品 他們 這 助

ji da rara o metdeh a macizavoz,

不 他們 叫來 主格 孩童 繫 加入

“ji kamo macizavoz a metdeh,

不 你們 加入 繫 孩童

ta ikateyci na ni akey ta do langaraen” koan da,

[譯:以前的人在準備祭品的時候,不讓小孩子在周邊活動,他們說”你們

In the past, when people were preparing the sacrificial items, they did not let children play around in the area. They said, “You children must not come over here, because our ancestors in heaven will feel disgusted.

7.no teyka mamarepareng sira am, mamarepareng sira

若 完畢 做,準備 他們 助 做,準備 他們

They started preparing the sacrificial items at about five.
