    The International Conference on Austronesian Endangered Language Documentation will take place at the International Conference Hall, Providence University, Taiwan, June 5-7, 2007. Papers will be permitted 20 minutes each, with a 5 minute question period following, and there will be a poster session as well. There will also be a limited number of invited papers and also workshops.
    This conference aims to bring international scholars to present the results of language documentation and training for Austronesian endangered languages. We welcome abstract submission for oral presentations and poster sessions on topics related to digital archiving, language corpus building, language revitalization, language transmission, capacity building and e-learning.

    The format provided below is required for all submissions. Abstracts will be accepted via email in .rtf format. Please limit the length of the abstract to a maximum of 500 words (do not count references or title as a part of this total). Send submissions to: hthsu@pu.edu.tw

I. In the subject heading of the e-mail message please type "Poster Submission," or "Paper Submission."

II. In the body of the e-mail message, please supply information for each of the following fields in the given order (you may wish to send a copy to your own e-mail):

* 1. TITLE OF PRESENTATION (Maximum ten words)
* 2. PRESENTER'S NAME (FAMILY, GIVEN)
* 3. DEPARTMENT & AFFILIATION
* 4. MAILING ADDRESS (CITY, STATE/PROV., POSTAL CODE/COUNTRY)
* 5. PHONE/E-MAIL ADDRESS
(Repeat the above fields for any Co-Presenters)

* 6. GENERAL RESEARCH AREA OF PRESENTATION (any that apply)
* 7. PRESENTATION NEEDS (Specify if you require an LCD projector, overhead transparency projector, multimedia speakers, etc.)
* 8. If submitted as a paper, whether you want it additionally considered as a poster. In a effort to permit as many submitters to present as possible, abstracts not accepted as papers may be accepted as posters.

III. Please remember to attach your abstract as a .rtf file (a maximum of 500 words, not counting references or title as a part of this total) to the email message.
Please also note that presenters are limited to a total of one individual presentation submission and one co-authored presentation submission each. E-mail notifications of the decisions about the proposals submitted will be sent by March 1, 2007.
